Join us at Utimaco Iberia as a QA Engineer and be a vital part of our expanding team in Spain, where you'll contribute to both the development of innovative Realsec products and global projects focusing on API and RESTful API integrations! 

• As our QA Engineer (m/f/d), you will set up a comprehensive test automation strategy for our new RESTful API, ensuring exceptional quality and reliability from the ground up while integrating automated test suites into our CI/CD pipelines for streamlined workflows.
• You will define and develop innovative test cases for the RESTful API using advanced fuzzing tools, pushing the limits of API testing to ensure robust functionality and performance.
• Conducting thorough unit tests, you will assess code robustness, focusing on edge cases, usability, and overall reliability, while utilizing API testing tools to validate that our APIs exceed user expectations.
• You will execute rigorous load and performance testing to ensure our services can adeptly handle expected traffic and user demand.
• Meticulously documenting your results, you will offer insightful observations and actionable improvements based on your analysis of test outcomes and overall product quality.
• By collaborating with cross-functional and global teams, you will define, design, and deliver cutting-edge features, enriching our offerings through shared expertise.
• You will create detailed bug tickets to facilitate swift resolution and continuous improvement in our products.
• Establishing a flexible testing environment, you will integrate hardware (HSM), ensuring optimal conditions for thorough testing.
• Last but not least, you will perform comprehensive security testing and analysis using code analysis and dependency tools, safeguarding our products and protecting user data against potential vulnerabilities.

Your profile

• You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field, complemented by a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, which has equipped you with a wealth of knowledge and practical skills.
• Your coding skills reflect your craftsmanship, demonstrating strong proficiency in Java programming, which is essential for this role, allowing you to write efficient and effective code.
• As a testing guru, you excel at developing test programs and preparing test data that align seamlessly with functional specifications, ensuring the highest quality standards.
• You have hands-on experience with automated testing tools or possess equivalent automation skills that enhance the overall testing process.
• With a solid background in integration testing across applications, you ensure seamless functionality and performance in complex systems.
• It’s a plus if you have experience with API generation tools (e.g., OpenAPI Generator), modern API fuzzers, API testing tools, mocking frameworks, GitLab and GitLab CI/CD, as well as knowledge of Python.
• Last but not least, you possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with fluent spoken and written English.
